Sarah J. Maas’ best-selling series,A Court of Thorns and Roses, has intriguingly enjoyed tremendous popularity among the BookTok community on TikTok in recent years. Now, Maas is all set to test its popularity in the streaming world through a live-action TV show.

Hulu picked up streaming rights for it and roped inFor All Mankind’sco-creator Ronald D. Moore to transform Maas’ words into a fantasy television series. The author will also serve as one of the creators.
This gives Maas a big say in the creative direction. Accordingly, she needs to verify one grave mistake of the novel series isn’t repeated this while.

A Court of Thorns and RosesTV Series Should Avoid One Mistake From Sarah J. Maas’ Novels
The first installment of Sarah J. Maas’ fantasy series is titledA Court of Thorns and Roses. The 2015 novel follows 19-year-old Feyre Archeron, who is taken to the magical land of Prythian by Tamlin as a punishment for murdering a faerie wolf in the woods. Eventually, the protagonist learns that whatever she previously knew about the faerie world is a lie.
Its sequel,A Court of Mist and Fury, takes a darker turn and examines Feyre’s depression and PTSD. She struggles to deal with the terrible deeds she took part in to save Tamlin’s people. The way Maas chronicled Feyre’s journey through the dark web of political games was really enjoyed by the readers.

However,A Court of Silver Flames, the latest installment in the series, failed to ape the same level of critical success.
This time, Maas sheds light on Nesta, Feyre’s sister. She struggles to find her place in the Night Court after being forced to become High Fae. Not everyone was pleased with the way Nesta’s mental health and weight issues were dealt with by the author, as it appeared the character was at fault for her state. The way Nesta was treated by everyone didn’t sit well with fans either.

Accordingly, it’s very important that Ronald D. Moore and Maas fix Nesta’s storyline in the Hulu series.
