The Lands Between inElden Ringis full of dark stories and NPCs with a bleak destiny. However, you will find a number of friendly and cool faces among them, such as the Iron Fist Alexander.
Most NPCs inElden Ringhave their own questline, but since the game doesn’t directly point where you should head on the map to complete the quests, it’s on you and your sense of exploration and curiosity to find complete the side quests.

How to Get Shard of Alexander in Elden Ring
If you have explored the Stormhill area in Limgrave, you’ve probably met the Iron Fist Alexander. He can be found around the Sainstbridge Site of Grace on top of a cliff. You can hear his call for help if you get close enough.
After helping him to get out of where he has stuck, you will meet him at General Radahn’s festival at Redmane Castle. However, you can also see him once again before the festival near the Geal Tunnel. The locations of both places have been shown in the images below. Make sure to talk to Alexander a few times before and after defeating Radahn.
The next time, you will find Alexander at the south of the Carian Study Hall in Liurnia of the Lakes. Help him get out again with an Oil Pot. Then talk to him.
The next stop for Alexander is around the Seethewater Terminus in Mt. Gelmir. We have already shown the path to this location in our guide forhow to get the Azur armor set. Talk to Alexander again a few times until you get a Jar helmet from him.
Now, only the final step remains, which is in the very late game location of Crumbling Farum Azula. You will reach this place once you kill all the campaign bosses in Mountaintops of the Giants. Before you may meet Alexander here, you should defeat a dragon. In order to reach the dragon, you should go through a fog wall using a Stonesword key at Dragon Temple Altar Site of Grace. After defeating the dragon, rest at a Site of Grace. and then head to the Dragon Temple Lift Site of Grace, which has been highlighted in the image below. There, you will find Alexnader.

Talk to Alexander for the final time, and he will invite you to a fight. After defeating him, you will get the Shard of Alexander Talisman.
