The singer has often very openly come forward to support educational causes, offering to pay the expenses for some of her fans. As a result, Minaj has proved time and again that she is above some of the petty criticism aimed at her, and here is why.
Nicki Minaj Paid Tuition Fees For Several of Her Fans
Nicki Minajreleased her first studio album in 2010, skyrocketing her to the top of the best-selling music charts. As Minaj established herself as the “Queen of Rap” in the following decade, her outspoken nature and views on her personal life have often led to controversies.
However, one aspect of Minaj’s personal life that receives very little attention is her philanthropic work. In 2017, Minaj took to social media andofferedto pay the educational expenses of her fans, including student loans and tuition fees of students with a 4.0 GPA or higher. She followed up the act with a similar tweet in 2018, writing:

As the tweet suggests, Minaj offered to pay all expenses of her fans related to education.

Under #StudentOfTheGame, Minaj lent financial support to many students, with the rapper shelling out areportedfigure of approximately $25,000 in charity up until 2018. As a result, the village was able to secure a Computer Center, a Tailoring Institute, a Reading Program, and two water wells. Similarly, Minaj has also donated$25,000to the Red Cross after Hurricane Harvey and$15,000to the Food Bank For New York City.
