The popular manga seriesMashle: Magic and Musclescame to an end after the release of 162 chapters on August 18, 2025. The chapters were published in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine.
After the release of the 162nd chapter, the publishing company, Viz Media, released the 18th and final volume of the manga series on July 26, 2025, along with a special handbook for its fans.
Mashle: Magic and Muscles, created by Hajime Kōmoto, follows the adventures of a young man named Mash Burnedead. Regardless of living in a world filled with magic users, Mash has no magical abilities of his own.
However, he has trained his body to become incredibly strong and muscular. When people attempt to attack Mash for his lack of magic, he is able to defend himself. Mash then makes a deal with these individuals and ends up enrolling at the prestigious Easton Magic Academy.

The climactic final chapter ofMashle: Magic and Muscles(chapter 161) saw the villainous Innocent Zero use his powers to undo all the destruction he had caused throughout the storyline. This even brought back to life all the characters who had fallen in battle.
Because of all this, Mash’s heart returned to his chest, restoring him to full health. Several months later, it was revealed that Mash would be the first person without any magical abilities to be named a Divine Visionary, one of the most respected mages in the land.
