As the DCEU has come to its end withAquaman and the Lost Kingdom, DC Studios is moving forward with a soft reboot bringing several new projects includingSupergirl: Woman of Tomorrow.

While the project is currently in its early development, casting is yet to be confirmed. But,House of the Dragonactress,Milly Alcockhas made her way as one of the top contenders for the role as per reports. With rumors circulating about her becoming a frontrunner, several fan arts have emerged depicting her as Superman’s cousin.

Last week, a report fromDeadlinesurfaced about the casting for the titular role in the upcomingSupergirl: Woman of Tomorrow.Her name was among the top three contenders to test for the role meanwhile the other two actresses wereThe Winchestersactor, Meg Donnelly andCODAactress, Emilia Jones.
While the director’s chair is still empty, DC Studios co-boss, James Gunn is set to be a part of the process. The report also mentioned that the character would likely make its debut as a cameo in a DC project. While the screening test is expected to take place within the month, Ana Nogueira has reportedly taken charge to write the script for theSupergirl: Woman of Tomorrow.
