King Viserys, who is celebrating the pregnancy of his new wifeAlicent, wants Rhaenyra to marry Jason Lannister to strengthen the relationship between the two houses. But, of course,Rhaenyrarefuses to marry someone she doesn’t like, which sparks another argument between the father and the daughter. However, even with a rebellious attitude, Rhaenyra realizes that she has to marry for diplomatic ties and not for love. So, Lord Strong suggests that if not Jason Lannister, Rhaenyra can marry Laenor Velaryon, which might end the conflict between the House Targaryen and House Velaryon.

Meanwhile,Lord Corlyscontinues to fight the forces of theCrabfeederwith the help ofPrince Daemon. After learning that Daemon - even with his dragon - is struggling to defeat Craghas Drahar, King Viserys sends an army to help his brother in the fight. But surprisingly, Viserys’s offer to help hurt Daemon’s pride, so he decides to win the fight before Viserys' fleet can arrive at the southern Stepstones. Much to everyone’s surprise, Daemon and Corlys win the battle, and the Prince kills the Crabfeeder by cutting his body in half. Now, fans think that after witnessing Daemon’s victory (without Viserys’s help), several lords will wish for the Prince to claim the Iron Throne. Well, it’s hard to predict how things will move forward, but let’s just say that King Viserys' life will become more complicated in Episode 4 of House of the Dragon.

HBO Max released an official trailer for the fourth chapter to give us a glimpse of the upcoming events. After winning the fight against the Crabfeeder, Prince Daemon will return to Kings Landing with a new title - “King of the Narrow Sea.” Of course, the younger brother’s rebellion will create more troubles for King Viserys, so he’ll keep on forcing Rhaenyra to marry.
