In The Shadow Of The Undercroft
One Of Hogwarts' Many Hidden Rooms
After getting acquainted with Sebastian during the first lesson of the Defence Against The Dark Arts class and challenging him in a duel that resembles the vibes of the Harry Potter movies, you will be introduced to theUndercroft, a secret room that is hidden behind a fancy closet.
During this quest (which is part of the main quest line), inside the Undercroft and your first meeting together, and after completing a wand movement mini-game, you will be taught theConfrigospell by Sebastian, a Blasting Curse, and the core part of your damaging combos.

Meeting Sebastian’s Sister, Anne
The second step of this relationship guide is represented by another task that is part of the main quest. DuringIn The Shadow Of The Estate, you will head toFeldcroft, a quaint village in the Highlands around Hogwarts, and meetAnne, the ill sister of Sebastian.
To start this quest, you must be at least level 15, but it isadvisable to be at least level 16in order to unlock Tier 2 Talents that will grant you the edge in the fights. After defeating a bunch of goblins,Ranrok’s Loyalists, you will find the first connection between the Highlands and the Undercroft.

Learn More About Ominis And Salazar Slytherin
This step is easy and short and is linked to a side quest. You will have to speak toOminis, a friend of Sebastian, who will reveal to you some terrible information regarding a hiddenScriptorium of Salazar Slytherin. You will get introduced to his dreadful experience with one of the Unforgivable Curses, and you will have to start thinking about which stand to take.
Although it does not include a true morality system, learning and using such forbidden spells will influence your playthrough and your experience in the world of Hogwarts Legacy. If you choose not to learn the spells at this moment, you get another chance later.

Starting The Search For The Relic
After completing the main questCharles Rockwood’sTrial, you will have to go to the Undercroft, witness an argument between Sebastian and Ominis, and then briefly discuss with the latter. Sebastian will explain his findings, and how in the past Dark Magic was taught at Hogwarts. You will then become aware of the next significant step of the quest, find a Relic that, according to what was said by Sebastian, can let youreverse Dark Magic curses.

Dreadful Catacombs And Puzzles
After completing theFire and Vice quest, you will unlock this step. Near Feldcroft, you will explore a catacomb, in which you will have tosolve environmental puzzlesinvolving skeletons.
In the last part of this quest, you will have to take a stand regarding the Unforgivable Curses. You will have the chance to learnImperio, but only if you ask Sebastian directly or, afterward, if you refuse to side with Ominis during his dialogue and you have no second thoughts.

Another filler and short mission that will lead you to the next significant step. You will merely have to speak to Sebastian in the Undercroft, and tell him how his uncle forbid him from coming near Anne or Feldcroft.

Another Piece Of The Canvas
After obtaining theTransformationspell, that will be taught to you by Professor Weasley, you will have to reach Sebastian at the Overlook Mine, defeat the enemies inside, clear spiderwebs with fire spells likeConfringo and Incendioto open a pathway, and solve a simple puzzle that will require you to cast the basic spell with the right trigger on the symbols to open the door.
After obtaining a canvas of the triptych and the entry of Isidora’s Journal, you will enter the portal that will lead you back to the Undercroft, where you will have to place the portrait in its spot.

Last Piece Of The Canvas And New Memory
To retrieve the final triptych canvas piece, you will have to follow almost the same pattern as the previous quest in the homologous situations. The additional steps will require you to levitate an object right after fixing the path using Reparo on the debris blocking the staircase. Eventually, you will head back to the Undercroft through the passageway. Upon completing the portrait with the reward of this quest, you willaccess Isidora’s memory through the Pensieve and unlock the next step.

Family Concerns Over Sebastian’s Descent Into Darkness
In a dialogue-driven short quest, you will meet Sebastian and Anne and become aware of the growing concern ofSolomon, their uncle, who is afraid of the descent into the darkness of the Slytherin student. Anne will follow Sebastian’s plan, as long as Ominis is agreeing with it,

Shocking Revelation And Learning Avada Kedavra
This is one of the most heart-touching quests of the entire game and will end up with a shocking revelation. In order to complete this mission, you will have to follow these steps:
After witnessing an emotional cutscene, you will have to follow Sebastian outside to the catacomb, and you can stigmatize its choice and refuse to learn Avada Kedavra, or you can say that everyone should know that curse and follow the evil footsteps of the darkest wizards.

The Truth Behind The Curse
It is the prelude to the final part of Sebastian’s relationship. In this short quest, you will tell your friend the terrible truth behind Anne’s curse. It wasn’t the goblin’s work, but the responsibility for the deed was Victor Rookwood’s, one of the main antagonists of the game, Ranrok’s ally, and Charles Rookwood’s descendant.

Helping Out A Friend
To start the last step of this questline, you must complete the Main Story first. Depending on your choice regarding Sebastian’s arrest, you will have a dialogue in the Undercroft. If you decide to turn Sebastian in, you will meet Ominis; otherwise, you will find Sebastian waiting for you. Sebastian will explain how his sister wants nothing to do with him, but won’t turn him in.
