Higurashi Goufirst airs in Japan every week on Fridays, at 12:30 AM JST. The episodes are later officially available in America onFunimationunder the titleHigurashi When They Cry - Gou. For those who prefer it this way, there’s also an English dub version released with a ten episodes delay. The latest dubbed episode isHigurashi Gouepisode 10.
Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni Gouepisode 20 will be dealing more with Rika and Satoko’s school life at St Lucia Academy, and Rena will be making an appearance as well.
Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Gouis a sequel to theoriginal gamesby Ryukishi07 and 07th Expansion. Initially, the anime wasannouncedwith no specific details on whether it’ll be a remake or a sequel. Its status as a sequel and brand new entry was revealed midway.
The first bluray box forHigurashi Gouwill be on sale in Japan on February 24. I’m sure those of you who plan to import got their own means to do so, so this is just a reminder. The bluray box most notably contains an 1/7 scale figure of Rika with the Angel Mort costume.

The 07th Expansion official account tweeted “Keep watching episode 20 until the very end”.
