Over 1.3 million players have taken over the satirical, futuristic environments ofHelldivers 2, ruled by the “managed democracy” of Super Earth, since its release at the start of February. Packed full of alien shooting antics, comedic moments, and teamplay strategies, the Arrowhead Game Studios title has gone from strength to strength.

It’s a testament to how well a game is doing when fans start to recreate their very own moments from it, as particularly seen in a recent shortfan-made animationof Helldivers 2, but one creator has taken it even further by shooting a hilarious scene where they become friends with a Terminid, and it’s as wholesome as it sounds - possibly a little strange too.

Helldivers 2 Player Creates Intricate Battle Plan To Take Zagon Prime And Fori Prime

A new Major Order is in, and one player has the perfect battle plan already in place.

As anyone who plays Helldivers 2 will tell you, Terminids arenotfriendly. These single-minded bugs' main mission is to reproduce and destroy democracy, but a very talented visual effects creator wants to turn that notion on its head as they have created one of the best Helldivers 2 sketches we have seen.

Helldivers 2 Planetary Hazards

On X (formerly known as Twitter),Jonkari Pshowcased their new sketch featuring them casually talking to a Terminid…as you do. The clip starts off with Jonkari saying “I don’t think we ever got over that language barrier” as the bug surprisingly answers back “It’s not your fault”. The soldier, voiced by Jonkari, replies in shock “What the fuck? You speak English?”, “Of course I do” says the bug, which then ends with them both hilariously posing for a selfie.

In the comments under the video, Jonkai thankedVidovicArtsfor their help in providing the bug model for their sketch, which looked amazing. For those interested in knowing more about how the team created the Terminid, there’s awhole videoexploring the process, specifically for animation and 3D printing.

In the clip, VidovicArts explains that these bug animations take at least 5 hours to texture, model, and edit by using Ender 3 with Cura for FDM slicing, and also throws in a sneaky callout to Arrowhead Studios that they’d love the opportunity to work for them. Looking at how incredibly gifted they are at crafting monsters, their creative skills would certainly come in useful if the studio decided to expand on Helldivers 2.

Helldivers 2 Finally Fixes Dreaded Locked Difficulty Bug

If you haven’t seen the fix already, Arrowhead says you’ll likely see it sometime tomorrow.
