What Happened Previously On Hell’s Paradise?
Mu Dan beheaded Hoko and revealed that they were the first humans to reach Horai in a millennium. Yuzuriha tried to flee but was captured by Mu Dan. Sagiri wondered about the mysterious Mu Dan, and Hoko identified him as one of Lord Tensen. Mu Dan explained the island’s purpose and revealed that there was nothing called the Elixir of Life that existed.
Using his Kiyoshi, Mu Dan then threatened Hoko and shocked everyone, revealing that non-Tensens turned into trees. Sagiri worried about Gabimaru, wondering how he would reunite with his wife as Elixir of Life was a lie. Sagiri launched a surprise attack, decapitating Mu Dan. However, Mu Dan regenerated, and the battle continued. Mu Dan demonstrated his ability to sense and dodge their attacks using Tao, proving their strategy ineffective without mastery of Tao.

Sagiri pleaded with Hoko to help them find Mu Dan’s weaknesses, but he believed it was their fate to die by his hand. Sagiri tried to attack Mu Dan, but he effortlessly dodged her. Realizing Mu Dan’s way of working, Sagiri devised a plan to target his navel using Tao. However, Mu Dan remained unharmed, explaining that their attacks lacked mastery over Tao.
Sagiri managed to wound him with a burst of Tao, and they noticed his wound wasn’t healing. As Sagiri sensed a familiar aura from Mu Dan, she came to the conclusion that her Tao could be effective against him. Yuzuriha and Senta joined forces, and they engaged in a fierce battle.
Yuzuriha trapped Mu Dan’s leg, but he retaliated with Tao projectiles. In the meantime, Sagiri struck him with Senta’s help, hitting his tanden and ending the battle. They checked on Hoko, relieved he was okay. Sagiri realized that Senta loved Yuzuriha, and Senta revealed that he envied Yuzuriha’s freedom and shared his artistic aspirations.
Sagiri proposed working together to escape, which Senta agreed to. Gabimaru, on the other hand, regretted not mastering Tao and not asking the Doshi about the elixir. Flowers sprouted from Mu Dan’s corpse, alarming Yuzuriha. Senta took a stinger hit while saving her, and soon, flowers boomed on his head. Yuzuriha lost hope, feeling unable to fight again while witnessing Mu Dan’s Kishikai transformation. However, Shion saved Sagiri and Yuzuriha from Tensen’s attacks at the end of the episode.
