Black Myth Wukongis finally out! In the game’s world, survival hinges on your ability to heal efficiently, and the Luojia Fragrant Vine plays a crucial role in this aspect. Scattered across the game’s vast and immersive world, these yellow, vine-like plants upgrade your Gourd, the primary healing item in the game.

By collecting these vines and upgrading your Gourd, you can significantly increase the number of times you can heal. Here’s how to find each Luojia Fragrant Vine and make the most of your healing potential.
Chapter 1 – Black Cloud, Red Fire
The Luojia Fragrant Vines are scattered across the different regions and chapters ofBlack Myth: Wukong. The worldthat the makers have crafted is stunningly beautifulso you might miss them at first glance.
The first vine you will encounter is in Chapter 1, near the Marsh of White Mist Shrine. This vine, easily accessible and unguarded, marks the beginning of your journey to upgrading the Gourd. As you progress, the difficulty in finding these vines increases, with some hidden in remote locations or protected by powerful foes.

Chapter 2 – Yellow Sand, Desolate Dusk
As you progress to Chapter 2, you’ll find two more Luojia Fragrant Vines in the Yellow Wind Ridge area. The first vine is located near the Windrest Bridge, just past a small village guarded by rat enemies in red robes.

After defeating them, you’ll find the vine behind a wooden gate, just before reaching the Windrest Hamlet Shrine. The second vine in this chapter is near the Windseal Gate, guarded by a miniboss known as the Gore-Eye Daoist. Defeating this foe is necessary to claim the vine.
Chapter 3, set in The New West, offers three Luojia Fragrant Vines. The first is available for purchase from the Shen Monkey in the Marsh of White Mist, who updates his stock as you progress through the game.

The second vine can be found in a cave near the Pagoda Realm’s Outside the Wheel Shrine, hanging from a tree in a dark corner. The final vine in this chapter is located on the North Shore of Bitter Lake, where you must defeat three enemies guarding it before you can take the vine.
In Chapter 4, the Webbed Hollow holds three Luojia Fragrant Vines. The first can be purchased from Shen Monkey at the Bamboo Grove, just like in Chapter 3. The second vine is near the Verdure Bridge, hanging from a tree in a small village guarded by a Scorpion enemy.

The third is at the Temple of the Yellow Flower, easily visible hanging from a tree near the shrine. The final vine in this chapter is in the secret area of Purple Cloud Mountain, accessible only after defeating the Venom Daoist and revisiting him later.
As you progress to Chapter 5, you’ll find two more Luojia Fragrant Vines. The first can be purchased from Shen Monkey, as usual, in the Marsh of White Mist. The second vine is located in the Woods of Ember, near the Height of Ember shrine.

To reach it, you must navigate past the Father of Stones boss fight and follow the cliffside path to the end, where the vine is perched on a tree. This vine is one of the final opportunities to enhance your Gourd before the game’s most challenging battles.
Unlocking the Supreme Gourd in Black Myth Wukong
Once you’ve collected nine Luojia Fragrant Vines and fully upgraded your Gourd, you’re ready to unlock the Supreme Gourd. Each vine must be given to the Shen Monkey NPC, who will enhance your Gourd’s capabilities.
With enough vines, your Gourd can eventually be upgraded to the Supreme Gourd, which offers ten healing charges and is crucial for unlocking the “Always Accompanied” trophy or achievement.
