Sean “Diddy” Combs has come to the forefront of the public eye for the worst possible reasons. After he was charged with racketeering conspiracy, s*x trafficking by force, fraud or coercion, and transportation to engage with prostitution, the world was blindsided by how all of this could have happened.
Additionally, the video showcasing a graphic display of Combs physically abusing his then-partner, Cassie Ventura, only adds to the disdain that the public is feeling toward him. Amid all this crisis and allegations against the rapper, it would seem that his court case is about to take a drastic turn.
Diddy Will Take the Stand
Recently,Diddy’sattorney, Marc Agnifilo, spoke toTMzabout his client and the plan that he has devised for his defense against the charges stacked against him. Interestingly enough, he revealed that Combs will be taking the stand and be cross-examined for all of the things that he has been accused of. While many would assume that the lawyer would not want his client to be put in such a situation, there seems to be intent behind the decision.
Agnifilo mentioned that he is very aware of the fact that he will not be able to talk Combs out of his decision to take the stand. The reason for this seems to be the fact that after years of allegedly keeping the world in the dark, the rapper is now eager to tell his side of the story. The attorney also mentioned that he would not be leaving details out, touching on everything surrounding his accusations.

This also seems to include the video that was released byCNN, showcasing the rapper physically assaulting Cassie Ventura.
Diddy Has A Lot to Say
Marc Agnifilo further talked about what Diddy plans to tell the world about his life, specifically focusing on his relationship with Cassie Ventura. It would seem that he would tell his side of the events that allegedly transpired in the video. Additionally, the attorney mentioned that the story can only come through his mouth.
He has his story and he has a story that I think only he can tell in the way he can tell it in real time. And it’s a human story. It’s a story of, of, of love. It’s a story of hurt. It’s a story of heartbreak.
Mentioning that the story is one of love and hurt, he stated that Combs is itching to share his perspective with the world. Agnifilo also mentioned that the one word he uses to describe their relationship and its end is heartbreak, with the entire situation being extremely painful for him.
I mean, when he describes that relationship, the word he uses more than any other word is heartbreak. He was heartbroken, she was heartbroken.
Although there is no denying that the world wants to know the context behind what was happening in that video, there are several other questions that need answering. Whether or not the rapper is going to provide those will only be found out after he takes the stand.
