Dwayne JohnsonandDany Garciamet back in 1997 while in college and shortly after got married. After nearly a decade of being together and having a daughter, the two divorced back in 2007 but have continued to be friends, co-parents, and business partners (viaMedium). They often post about each other on social media, and never shy away from praising one another, a feat rarely ever seen among separated couples.
And it is because of their unique relationship thatMick Foley, a former rival of The Rock and WWE Hall of Famer, praised the film star in an interview withTMZ Sports. While being touched by The Rock’s kind gesture to have Garcia’s name as a producer in the movieFighting With My Family,a movie that the actor starred in and -co-produced, Foley stated,
“So The Rock not only sets an example on how to conduct yourself as a human being an actor or philanthropist, but as a former husband. So it’s a win-win for everybody.”
He made these comments after Johnson and Garcia co-purchased XFL along with several others, and even stated that their co-purchasing a business was one of the greatest things about the venture.

Mick Foley Was Also Impressed By Dwayne Johnson Being At Dany Garcia’s Wedding
Dwayne Johnson has been happily together with his now wifeLauren Hashianand also shares two daughters with her. Despite having moved on in his love life, the actor remains close to his first wife as well. Back in 2019, he was even present at Dany Garcia’s wedding withDave Rienzi, who is also a good friend of the actor as well as his personal trainer (via Medium).
And so The Rock’s presence at Garcia’s wedding also impressed Mick Foley, who called the instance one of his favorite stories to tell about theBlack Adamstar (via TMZ Sports).
“Of all the stories I tell about The Rock, I think my favorite one is, he was actually at his ex-wife’s wedding. I think that’s a great lesson for everyone to learn. The fact that they can stay amazing friends, be amazing parents to Simone and take on these business ventures.”
Foley even went on to show his support for Johnson if he ever turned to politics and stated that he would always be there if the actor ever wanted a helping hand. This instance only shows how much of a down-to-earth and humble person Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is.
