The12 collectible skullsinHalo Infinitecan be difficult to find, but worth it. Once you find them, you may activate them in the main menu. After you click the save file, you can choose the activated skulls under the difficulty.

Each skull will deliver a twist to your gameplayby modifying either the difficulty, increasing the amount of ammo you have, or other special additions to enhance your experience.

Where To Find Skulls

There will be5 mission-specific skullsand7 skulls you may find in the open world. The 7 in the open world can be grabbed at the end of the game, therefore the first 5 listed are the mission-specific ones.

Mission Skulls

These 5 mission skullsyou will find throughout the campaign of this Halo game.

Boom: Warship Gbraakon

The Boom skull can be found by reaching the second level of the ship,walking down the walkway and to your right you will come to a lift. If you get on that first lift, you will see the skull to your right.

This skull will increase your explosion radius.

Cowbell Skull: Foundations

The next skull will be found in the mission called Foundations. When in the ship, you will head up a ramp to a platform with only one door. Through that door you will go up another ramp and through another door.You will come to a big window in front of you.

You should veer to your left, take out the nearby enemies, and continue until the hallway leads to an open area.The skull will be up top in the middle of that area.Using the grappleshot, rappel up the spire then shimmy across before doing one more grappleshot to land on the ledge where the skull is resting.

This skull increases acceleration from explosions.

Mythic Skull: The Command Spire

While you will spend time in the open worldbetween the Foundations mission and The Command Spire mission, the next skull you’ll be looking for in the missions will be the Mythic skull. You will enter this ship’s corridor that has structures passing through orange portals.

To the left of this portal, there will be a way to go around the portal. Once you’re on the other side of this portal, you need to grapple your way to the top of one of those structures right after it passes through the portal. Next, look for a ledge at the back of that room and grapple your way up to that ledge.

Turn your flashlight on once you’re up on the ledge and turn around to face the portal. From here, turn to your right, look up, and you’ll see a ledge you must rappel up. You will then go through the Forerunner door, down the hallway, through another Forerunner door and there you will find on a little platform the Mythic skull.

The Mythic skull increases the enemies' health.

Grunt Birthday Party Skull: Repository

One of the classic skulls you will find next is called the Grunt Birthday Party skull.You will find this skull in the Repository mission.Entering the area, you will notice a blue transparent bridge you will need to cross. Next, you will want to interact with the pedestal in the middle of this platform which will extend the light bridge.

While still on the middle platform, you will notice on the left and right of you are these doors.Go back to where you entered, and you will go to the door on the right.Either jump at it with your grappleshot or to play it safe, run back the way you came and follow the small ledges on the right to jump from the entrance of the room inthis Xbox original franchise.

Go through the secret door and at the end of the hallway you will find a power cell.Grab the power cell and bring it to the door on the opposite end of the room. To make things easier, throw it back to the beginning of the room, so it doesn’t fall into the void. You will then follow suit and pick it up once you’re at the entrance again.

After you pick the power cell back up,take it to the center and throw it to the door on your left before grappling over to the door.Once you grab the power cell again, enter that left-hand side door, go down the hallway, then to your right you will come to a small pedestal you will want to plant the power cell. You will then continue on with the mission for a couple more minutes.

From here, you will enter the next door in the mission, up a ramp then into a room. Two pillars will be in front of you,and you’ll want to grapple up them.You will come to a glass window which will be opened because of you moving the power cell.

Inside, the skull will be straight ahead of you but5 camo sword elites will be waiting for youto take them out. Once they’re taken care of, you can grab the skull.

The Grunt Birthday Party Skull will make grunts explode into celebrations when they are successfully killed with a headshot.

Bandana Skull: Silent Auditorium

Make sure you do not kill any Sentinels.This is crucial to ensure the skull will spawn. You could ignore the enemies by just using your grappleshot and making your way through the area. After progressing through 2 or 3 rooms, you will be given the chance to extend the light bridge.

Turning left after the light bridge will continue the mission.If you haven’t killed any Sentinels, there will be a second light bridge aheadof you leading to an opened Forerunner door that you can pass through to pick up the Bandana Skull. Once inside, just grapple up to the ledge on your right, and there you will see the skull.

The Bandana Skull grants you unlimited ammo and grenades as well as removing the equipment cooldown.The next skulls can be available in the Open World once you beat the main campaign.

If an explosion or something that killed a Sentinel, pause the game and restart the mission from the beginning. While this is annoying, it is better than missing the skull altogether or having to replay the entire game.

Open World Skulls

The next skulls can be available in the open worldonce you beat the main campaign.

Catch Skull: Open World North

In the northern part of the map, you will find the Catch Skull. If you takeyour favorite flying vehicleover the canyon, you come face to face with two red Banished hunters that you may ignore or take out. Behind them, there will be a small lake and next to that lake there is a tree stump with a skull on top of a bunch of helmets.

The Catch Skull allows the enemies to throw and drop more grenades.

Fog Skull: Open World Near Fob Alpha

The Fog Skull isn’t far from Fob Alphaand you should be able to fly right to it, though it is more fun retrieving it on foot. When you approach the large cliff side, you’ll notice you can keep going along the edge of it and wind up underneath. When you see the small plush toy, the skull will be pretty much above you and you will need to use the grappleshot as well as perfectly timed jumps to reach it.

While you’re able to’t jump straight at it, you will need to run past this plush doll, look to your right anduse your grappleshot to get to the next level.You may have to make the jump and then grapple at the last second.

Once you climb up to the highest of the 3 structures,grapple straight ahead and jump to the next level. You will then grapple to jump up onto the next set of structures. When you get up on the second one, turn around and make your way across to keep moving upwards.

Once you grapple up on a rock topped structure, you will jump into an open area at the top surrounded by rocks and dirt with the skull on the middle platform.

The fog skull will disable your motion tracker or your radar in the bottom left corner of your screen.

I Would Have Been Your Daddy Skull (IWHBYD): Open World Tower

The I Would Have Been Your Daddy Skull is on top of the tower in the open world.While there is a mission here, you won’t have to go up the tower too much.

If you go to Fob Foxtrot and spawn a wasp,it will make retrieving this skull a lot easier as you may just fly to the top of the tower. While you are grabbing the skull, you will notice a Craig Easter Egg up here as well.

The IWHBYD Skull will enable rare combat dialogue to become more common.This will give you new dialogue to show up throughout the game.

Blind Skull: Open World Cliff Chasm

Working down the edge of the map,the Blind Skull can be retrieved easily in a wasp.You will notice two cliffs with a large chasm between them and halfway through there’s a rock that will link them.

As you’re moving, you’ll want to move closer to the right side of the cliff andend up on top of the rock that links the two sides together.Looking down at the linking rock, you’ll notice blue signals that you need to follow down the cliff.

As you run out of rock, if you look down the blue signal will be brighter, and you will jump towards it. Once you’re on this platform, start walking to your right then straight ahead you will make the last jump towards the blue signal. The skull will be right near where you land, tucked in a corner.

The Blind Skull turns off your heads-up display and all of your weapons, so you are essentially blind.

Thunderstorm Skull: Open World Near Beacon

The Thunderstorm Skull isn’t too far from Fob Juliet near the beacon.While this one can be done on foot, it will be easier and faster with a wasp inthis difficult FPS.The skull will be located on a pillar that is right next to the beacon. You can either grapple up the pillar or jump from the cliff onto the pillar. The skull will be located right in the middle of it.

The Thunderstorm Skull will upgrade the rank of most enemies making them tougher.

Black Eye Skull: Open World Waterfall

Moving towards the bottom right-hand corner of the map,the next skull won’t be far from Fob Kilo.You won’t need a vehicle for this one as you will find the Black Eye Skull behind the waterfall. There will be a tiny cave behind the waterfall that can be difficult to see.

Keep in mind your vision will get blurry as you approach the waterfall,but you should be able to grapple into the cave.Once on the ledge, crouch and enter the glowing red cave. The skull will be mounted on top of a piece of rock jutting out of the ground.

The Black Eye Skull will only allow your shields to recharge if you melee.

Famine Skull: Open World Near Fob November

Located near the bottom right-hand corner of the map, you will find the last skull, not far from Fob November. Since you’ll need a flying vehicle, you will want to hijack a banshee or use a wasp. Heading towards the beacon, you will notice to your right, and a bit below it,there is a floating island on the side.

Fly to the back of the island where you’ll notice a downed enemy on the edges. The Famine Skull will be on the backside on the edge of this little island next to a boulder.

The Famine Skull enables enemies to drop half of the ammo they normally would.
