Earlier this week,Rockstar Gamesconfirmed that the nextGTA Onlineupdate would be ‘Bottom Dollar Bounties’. The upcoming content update appears to beawfully similar to the cancelled ‘Cops N Crooks’ updatefrom a few years ago, adding a new bounty hunting business, “off-the-books enforcement activities,” new vehicles, and much more.
Similar to previous updates, Bottom Dollar Bounties will once again see a character fromGrand Theft Auto 5make their return. Unfortunately, it’s not the character fans have been begging for.

Yasuke won’t have his own hidden blade, but he will be able to perform some “brutal” assassinations, according to Ubisoft.
As revealed in anew traileryesterday afternoon, GTA Online: Bottom Dollar Bounties will see the return of Maude Eccles, a character not seen in GTA Online since 2013. But before Maude appeared in GTA Online, she ran a bounty business in Grand Theft Auto 5. With four separate bounties available in-game, players could earn $5,000 per bounty, or $10,000 per bounty if they brought them back alive.
Maude will now be returning to GTA Online next week with the Bottom Dollar Bounties update, in which players will be able to take over Maude’s bounty enforcement business and work with her daughter, Jenette Eccles.
While fans are eager to check out the new update and run their very own bounty-hunting business, the community is still begging to see the return of Michael De Santa, one of the few remaining Grand Theft Auto 5 characters yet to make an appearance in GTA Online.
Ned Luke, the actor who portrays Michael De Santa in Grand Theft Auto 5, has teased fans multiple times in the past. Back in November,Luke responded to a fan on X(formerly Twitter) teasing his potential return in GTA Online.
Prior to that,in-game files pointed toward a potential return for the character, but fans have still been left in the dark about Michael’s return. But some fans are certain that GTA Online will go out with a bang and have one final content update featuring Michael De Santa’s return.
“Michael is gonna be, in his own words “The Big One” at the end of GTA 5’s online mode. Calling it now,“one usersaid on X. While anotherechoed a similar statement, saying, “Mark my words, Michael will return in GTA Online’s last update.”
