While everyone has been talking aboutGrand Theft Auto VIin the past few weeks,Grand Theft Auto Vhas sparked some hope for the future of the Enhanced Edition on PC.
As you might remember, the “Enhanced and Expanded” version of Grand Theft Auto 5 was originally released only onPS5andXbox Series X, skipping PC like almost allRockstar Gamesreleases.

After a long wait, the PC version of Grand Theft Auto V received a free update, which was supposed to bring all the graphical upgrades of the said version to PC.
Grand Theft Auto VI Could Be Priced Anything Based on Take-Two CEO New Comment
Is it going to be $100?
However, this update turned out to be a disappointing mess. Although it was free,it had a lot of technical problems such as shuttering, bad frame pacing, ray-tracing issues, and so on.

However, there is one mod calledNaturalVision, which brings a stunning visual overhaul to this game. With the help of this mod, Grand Theft Auto V might finally find redemption on PC (pun intended).
This mod addsan enhanced range of ray-tracing global illumination effects, ray-traced ambient occlusion, and a slider to control the settings to Grand Theft Auto V on PC, bringing the game’s visuals closer to realism.

NaturalVision Brings Grand Theft Auto V PC Graphical Visuals Closer To Realism
Razed, the creator of the NaturalVision mod for GTA V, has also talked about the graphical improvements of this mod and how it improves the game’s overall visuals. He explained:
“NaturalVision Enhanced taps into the new ray tracing tech within GTA 5 Enhanced to bring the world to life with a different sense of realism. Players can expect to see improved lighting, shadows and colors across San Andreas, along with some of the high-quality textures and props from NaturalVision Evolved ported over.”

“I’m very happy with the progress so far and think it’s the most refined and immersive version of NaturalVision we’ve ever created. For me, it’s all about creating an illusion of a living, breathing world that pulls you in. Funny enough, the very first version of NaturalVision was called ‘NaturalVision Photorealistic GTAV’ but it was far from being truly photorealistic at the time.”
“Although with NaturalVision Enhanced and the power of ray tracing, I think it’s safe to say we’re closer to that vision than ever before. Huge thanks to Rockstar Games for helping make that possible.”

Rockstar Games is hard at work developing the highly anticipatedGrand Theft Auto 6, which is aiming to launch on June 08, 2025.
As for this year, there are reports and rumors suggesting that we might getports of previous Rockstar titles for the modern platformsandpossibly a Nintendo Switch 2 version of Red Dead Redemption 2.
