Nightwing’s skill trees consist of Raptor, Acrobat, Pack Leader, and Knighthood. Each tree offers fun mechanics that set Nightwing apart from the other heroes. Here’s what you can look for when playing the game and leveling your Nightwing.

Best Raptor Tree Abilities

Nightwing’s Raptor Tree grants him a variety of Critical chance and Damage increases while also providing him with one of his staple methods of taking down enemies. It offers an increase inCritical chance and Critical Damage.

The most fun addition to this tree is theTrampolineandAerial Bounceskills. After using Nightwing’sPounceability, Trampoline will allow him to leap high into the air, granting him an opening for an aerial attack. With the Aerial Bounce skill, landing an Aerial attack will allow Nightwing to jump back into the air and chain Aerial attacks on your opponents up to 3 times. This is a fun method of combat that allows Nightwing to bounce from enemy to enemy, dealing damage in a way no other character can.

Another unique addition to this tree is theAssassin’s Markskill, which will allow Nightwing to useAR scanningto mark an enemy and increase damage dealt against that enemy by 10% for himself and his allies. While it can be difficult to find time during ongoing combat to apply this mark, the damage buff to all allies is incredibly useful, so it’s worth picking up.

The final skill in the Raptor tree,Critical Distance, increases Nightwing’s Critical Chance and Damagewhen striking enemies from a long distance with a melee attack, which is surprisingly easy for Nightwing.

While the combination of Trampoline and Aerial Bounce is fun you should be wary of when to use it. Nightwing can be shot or hit out of the air by certain attacks and the Trampoline skill will not work in buildings with low ceilings.

Directly after this he gains theHealth Bolstered Defenseskill, which grants him a 5% defense bonus when over 70% of his health. This can scale up to a maximum of a 20% defense bonus.

Momentum Regenis a self-explanatory skill that will allow Nightwing’smomentum to regenerate up to one segmentbefore stopping. However,it can be activated again by gaining momentumby yourself; this skill can work well with the Acrobat tree to once again allow Nightwing to use and regain momentum abilities at an impressive speed. The regeneration speed is increased when playing with allies.

Nightwing can also improve his aimed ranged attacks using theElemental Smart Dartsskill, which will applyElemental Effect build-up to opponents(if the dart already has Elemental Effect build-up, the build-up will become faster)or heal allies over time.It can then be buffed withElemental Smart Darts+,which willreduce enemies defense by 10% and increase allies damage by 5% for 10 seconds. This pair of skills can be useful for both solo play and multiplayer to increase Nightwing’s own damage as well as that of his allies.

Nightwing can unlock skills likeShared Skillwhich willshare any of his passive bonuses to Damage, Critical chance, Defense, Momentum, and Cooldown with his allies at 50% of their original value.
