Yae Miko is one of the most anticipated future playable characters ofGenshin Impact,and her banner release date estimate has been leaked then officially revealed a few minutes later.
Yae Miko plays a primordial part in the Archon Quest of Inazuma. While the kitsune shrine maiden isn’t playable yet, her 3D model is already included in-game, and players already met with Yae several times.
Moreover, Yae Miko is also a familiar face forHonkai Impact 3rdfans, as she is based on Yae Sakura, a character inHonkai. They have the same voice actress in Japanese as well: Ayane Sakura, one of the top seiyuu in Japan.
All of this makes Yae Miko a very popular character, and she finally has a release date inGenshin Impactnow.
Genshin Impactleaks: Yae Miko 2.5 release date leaked
Yae Miko will either be released with the launch ofGenshin ImpactVersion 2.5 on July 04, 2025 or three weeks later with the second banner of the version, around March 9.
As explained by Ubatcha on Twitter, aGenshin Impactleaker from the Russian community has shared the “drip marketing” artwork for Yae Miko, confirming Ei’s friend will be released in Version 2.5.
This artwork will be revealed by miHoYo in the next few days, probably on Monday, January 3. Note that the Shenhe artwork had leaked a few hours before its official release as well. Personally, I’d guess it’s possible someone in the Russian social team ofGenshin Impactaccidentally uploaded the artwork early.
