Bandai Namco has shown off some new footage of Gaara and Kaguya in their upcoming Shonen Jump crossover gameJump Force.Thankfully, throughout most of the footage, Gaara is absolutely destroying Kaguya (who I’m personally not the biggest fan of at all). FourNarutocharacters wererevealedfairly recently inJump Force;Boruto, Kakashi, Kaguya, and Gaara. The Kazekage from the Sand Village (Gaara) is easily one of my favorite characters fromNaruto Shippuden.It’s awesome to see him using a variety of his skills in-game. We also see him bring forth Kakuzu, the one-tailed Jinchuriki that’s sealed inside of Gaara throughout a large portion of the first and second series.
Kaguya, on the other hand, does not fare so well in the fight. While her moves look to be a good representation of her overwhelming power in the series, I can’t feel a little sadJump Forcedidn’t include another more prominent female character fromNarutolike Tsunade, Sakura, or Hinata. Even a more compelling villain like Madara, Orochimaru, or Pain, would’ve been nice.

Jump Forcewill allow fans to create theirown customizable characterwho’ll go on to fight alongside the iconic heroes and villains of Shonen Jump. Based on previoustrailers, the narrative will have you join the appropriately named Jump Force when our world and the world of anime and manga collide. Additionally, it looks like there’ll be a hub world for you and your friends to explore, similar to the ones in bothDragon Ball XenoverseandNaruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker.
