Fortnitewill take its collaboration with the Star Wars franchise one step further, as a brand-new Anakin Skywalker skin will be available to claim on May 2. Two days before Star Wars Day, players will be able to rejoice with his iconic lightsaber and traditional outfit.
Over the past few years, Fortnite has brought a number of Star Wars skins to keep fans engaged. This long-running collaboration was first started with the classic Imperial Stormtroopers back in 2019, then expanded with Boba Fett, The Mandalorian, Fennec Shand, Darth Vader, and Luke Skywalker. In addition, the roster of Star Wars characters in the game includes Han Solo, Leia Organa, Zorii Bliss, and Krrsantan.

Announced through concept art, Anakin Skywalker lands on the island with a robotic arm and his leather-and-cloth ensemble. Star Wars fans might recognize his outfit — this Anakin Skywalker is the character’s Revenge of the Sith version from 2005, wearing a traditional outfit that we saw in his fight against Obi-Wan Kenobi. There’s no information yet on how much the Anakin skin will cost or which items he will be bundled with, but Fortnite has revealed that it will be available to purchase on May 2, just before for Star Wars Day on May the 4th.
Aside from the Star Wars collaboration, Fortnite will reportedly team up with LEGO for new skins, which will be available in Chapter 4 Season 4. According to reliable Fortnite leakerShiinaBR, Epic Games is now testing a new version of this collaboration called Dev-JunoStable. The ever-popular battle royale game is also planning acollaboration with the Doctor Who franchisefor exclusive skins and rewards. Some fans speculated that Doctor Who will land on the island with TARDIS, a fictional time machine that appears in the sci-fi series.
Fortnite also announced that the current season has been extended by a month, which will now launch on June 4 rather than May 1. Players will have an extra week to complete their Battle Pass to earn additional rewards.
