Despite Fortnite OG being the game’s most successful season yet, it hasn’t been without its controversies. Fortnite Server Downtime Schedule For v21.11

Epic Games has confirmed that Fortnite servers will be brought offline onTuesday, November 21st at 4AM ET / 9AM GMT.The exact length of the server downtime was not shared by Epic Games, but it is expected to last between 1 and 2 hours, based on previous updates. Matchmaking will also be disabled 30 minutes beforehand.

Users across PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, PC, and Android devices will all be required to download and install the latest patch. The size of today’s update will vary, but as the patch has now begun rolling out for the aforementioned platforms, we do know that it will range between 4.7GB to 5.8GB.

Fortnite Update 4.06 Patch Details

Epic Games has yet to release the official patch notes for today’s update, but we do know that players won’t see any major in-game changes just yet. According to leakerHappy Power, the update will prepare the game for the release of Season X later this week.

Since the release of Fortnite OG, Epic Games has been cycling between previous Chapter 1 seasons, with Season X set to be the final throwback season. The release date is yet to be confirmed by Epic, but it will likely be released this Thursday, November 23rd.
