Nikolaj Coster-Waldau’s Jaime Lannister notably lost his right hand in Season 3 ofGame of Thrones. He and Brienne of Tarth were held prisoners by Lord Roose Bolton’s man-at-arms, Locke. That night, the soldiers attempted to assault Brienne and Jaime had to intervene. The Kingslayer informed them that she was a noblewoman and they could ask for a ransom in exchange for her safe return.

He also tried to bribe Locke by telling him that his powerful and wealthy father could reward him if he set him free. Unfortunately, this scheme tremendously backfired and an enraged Locke sliced off Jaime’s dominant hand.
