As we like to do, here are our predictions for the February 2022Pokemon GOCommunity Day.
Following a double bubble in January with bothSphealandBulbasaurstepping into the limelight, we try and take a stab at who could be appearing in February. Let’s take a look.

WhenPokemon GOfirst launched, Golem was an absolute monster. It was the prime candidate for taking down Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Lugia and Ho-Oh in raids and players couldn’t get enough of them.
Sadly, as more and more Pokemon have been released, Golem has very much faded into the background. It would be welcomed for the Rock Pokemon to get its moment in the spotlight once again with a new, powerful Community Day move.

Cyndaquil/Oshawott/Rowlett (Introduction)
WithPokemon Legends: Arceuson the horizon, Niantic and The Pokemon Company could opt for a bit of cross-promotion.
With a lack of an actualLegends: Arceusevent, at least at the time of writing this, February’s Community day could present a good option. It would introduce Rowlett into the game, plus serve as a way to add both Cyndaquil and Oshawott’s rumoured new Hisuian evolutions.

I’ve saidI’m going to predict this until it happens. Here it is again.
I really hope Axew gets a Community Day soon.
Following January, both Charmander and Bulbasaur have featured twice as the Community Day Pokemon, leaving Squirtle on its own on one. February could change that.
It’s clear Squirtle is the best Gen 1 starter, so it deserves its spot in the limelight once again.
Another previous prediction but one that still feels like a prime candidate.
Excadrill has a place in the PVP meta and is a bit of an underrated Pokemon. Given a new Community Day move, coupled with the release of its shiny form, a Drilbur Community Day could be a popular one.
