Loki, the God of Mischief, has always been a character who thrives the most when utilizing his deception and trickery, allowing him to turn the unfavorable odds in his favor. InMarvel Rivals, this trademark characteristic has taken a new, lethal form, allowing the trickster god to become nearly unbeatable in the right hands.

Players have recently discovered a brilliant yet deadly mix of abilities in the game, bringing the trickster to new heights and aligning him even more closely with his lore. Thanks to his special team-up ability with his sister, Hela, he now has a trick up his sleeve, that’s almost impossible to counter.

Loki even has a special trick up his sleeves in Marvel Rivals

InMarvel Rivals, Loki, Thor, and Hela share a powerful team-up ability ‘Ragnarok Rebirth’ that allows Hela to revive her brothers after their defeat. This synergy reflects their unique family bond, with Hela using her godly powers to bring her brother back into the fight.

For many players, this synergy alone was enough to strategize around. After all, who wouldn’twant to get another shot at victory, especially when paired with the resurrecting might of Hela?

However, players have discovered a hidden layer to this synergy, which is both clever and deadly. As it turns out when Loki transforms into Hela, he can still trigger his team-up with her and come back to life after being “killed.”

Not only this trick is super powerful, but also aligns with his character in the comics and films. He has always had a knack for faking his own death and manipulating others into believing he’s gone, only to return with a vengeance. Fans are all up for it.

Many players are enjoying this unique synergy and are excited over how well this interaction fits the trickster god’s character. Now players are hoping that NetEase won’t fix this as it is not part of the usual interactions.

Why this trick might not be in the game for long

While this is a worthy and appropriate ability for the character, it is not officially supported, as his God Of Mischief ability states that after transforming, he can use all the abilities of the character he copied except any of their Team-Up Abilities.

Unfortunately, this interaction with Hela is a team-up ability and shouldn’t work like that. Players also know that and are hoping that the developers do not change the interaction as it is very difficult to pull off.

Additionally, for this trick to work, players have discovered that they need to have a Hela in their team. If Loki copies Hela from enemies, this interaction won’t happen and he will actually die, not at the hands of Thanos this time. Overall, it’s sort of a bug that requires various things to be aligned.

As the game continues to evolve with theintroduction of the Fantastic Four in Season 1, one can only wonder what other tricks and interactions other characters might have up their sleeves.

In the end, this new “fake death” trick is making Loki a nearly unstoppable force on the battlefield, and a true testament to the brilliance of the God of Mischief.
