It is also said that the game will be announced today. This could be true, asMarvel Games’ official X accounthas said that an exciting reveal will happen on March 27 at 8 AM PT/11 AM ET.

The game is part ofNetEase‘s 2019 deal with Marvel to develop the games, and the two titles that have already been released areMarvel Super Warand the card gameMarvel Duel. According toTheStreamr, the game will be coming to PC, but mobile and console releases are not confirmed.

The same website has also claimed that the game will have a map known as Odin’s Vault and another map based on a real-life location, but it will not be New York. Other characters that are alleged to make up the roster include Bruce Banner, Loki, Storm, and Groot, among others.

Additional Rumored Details About Marvel Rivals

There were reports that the game would have environmental destruction. It is also said that there will be no player-vs.-environment mode. Moreover, the game will be more melee-based than a shooter, as the characters who originally used guns will only use them.

Thor and Moon Knight will be released as later heroes, probably as DLC. Each character is said to have their own unique powers and abilities, and more features may be added later. One of the game modes is alleged to be known as“Escort,”which will see players take on a mission to take a convoy to an undisclosed location.
