As the latest launched entry in the series,Final Fantasy XVwas released in 2016 on PS4 and Xbox One, followed by a PC version two years later.
Final Fantasy XVreceived mostly favorable reviews at launch, however, some fans criticized thelack of story content, which then completed with severalpost-launch expansions. The Royal Edition of the game with all DLCs has been available on Xbox Game Pass for PC and consolessince February 2020, and now after almost a year, it will be leaving the service on February 1st this year.
