The developer has teamed up with Bridal Hearts to launch a new wedding service, called Ceremonies of Eternal Bonding, in Japan that is based on the massively popular MMORPG.
Couples can now get hitched in a fully-licensed wedding where the bride and groom can dress up in outfits seen fromFinal Fantasy XIVthat includes the music, but the best part is that you may even carry weapons as you say “I do”, shields, and many otherFFXIVaccessories. On February 14th in Kobe, Japan, a random couple were picked from a lottery that contained 247 couples to be the first to try out this exciting ceremony. As seen in the pictures below, the couple then went on to cut theirFinal Fantasythemed cake with the giant one-handed Curtana Nexus while a huge screen showcased in-game pictures in the background throughout.
If this is something that tickles your fancy then to get in with a chance of a lifetime to celebrate your wedding in style, you only have to come up with $31,000 - money shouldn’t stand in your way when it comes to aFinal Fantasythemed wedding and image the awesome pictures you can to your 10 followers or on Facebook where no-one really gives a damn. This big lump of cash does, however, allow you to invite 70 of your friends, so they too can share in your joyous day. Just look at that cake and themed food - that alone is priceless, in my opinion.
