Final Fantasyhas been a staple for many gamers since its first installment in the 80s so it’s not hard to see why its community is one of the biggest and one of the most creative in the gaming universe. Unsurprisingly,Final Fantasy VII Remakeshipped over5 million copiesworldwide, digitally and physically, since its launch on June 11, 2025, and also saw thatnearly half of its playerssaw the game through to the end, despite it being pretty lengthy.Final Fantasyis also widely known for its amazing cosplayers who love to rock out as their favorite characters from the franchise but what you maybe won’t see every day is the actual voice actors from the game taking part, too.
Briana White, who mostFinal Fantasy VII Remakeplayers will know is the voice of Aerith in the remake of the PlayStation One JRPG from 1997, has posted on her personal Twitter account a couple of shots from a photoshoot with photographerMartin Wongshowing off her amazing cosplaying skills as Aerith Gainsborough, the last of the Cetra, an ancient race with powerful magical abilities. Even though White has orbited the gaming and entertainment industry for a long time taking on the roles of an on-air host, commercials, YouTube and Twitch, cosplaying wasn’t something she was too familiar with. Thanks to the help of Twitch streamer and cosplayerLady Zero, White’s beautiful dress and ribbon enabled her to slip into the role of Aerith perfectly. Briana also sought the help of professional makeup artist, Twitch streamer, and cosplayerHelloiamkate, completing the Aerith photoshoot. With such incredible talents merging together, Briana’s cosplay resulted in some stunning images that really brought the character to life, just as great as the voice actor did vocally.

Briana WhiteÂshared a video clip of her live-streaming the game and as Aerith is first introduced, we can see the Aerith voice actress begin to become very moved especially so when Aerith hands Cloud a flower. The Japanese voice actor for Cloud, Takahiro Sakurai had declared in an interview that if he had to choose, he would chooseÂTifa over Aerith.
