When it comes to making your game look as good as it can, you’ll need to make a choice. Fortunately, you won’t be locked into this choice. For instance, I would keep on graphics mode the entire time you’re in The Golden Sacer. You want to take in that location with all of its splendor.

Performance Mode In Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth
I love a good screenshot. So, I’m normally the kind of player who chooses graphics modes above all else. I’m not particularly sensitive to lower framerates and I usually find the tradeoff to be worth. However, in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, I chose performance mode for most of my playthrough. As much as I loved that extra bit of crispness to graphics mode, I couldn’t deny that things just ran a little smoother in performance mode. I felt this was particularly noticeable in combat where you were most likely to have a lot happening on the screen at one time. With a combat system this fast and flashy, it’s impressive that the performance mode manages to keep things locked at a rock solid 60fps.
