One thing that you can do to ensure that you have the best party that you can is to build theirFolios. These Folios will allow you to unlock newLimit Breaks,Synergy Skills, and Spells, making them something you will want to work on. You can increase those Folios by using Manuscripts.

What Are Manuscripts?
Manuscripts are ways that you can upgrade your Folio in the game. Each Manuscript that you find automatically adds 10 SP to that character’s Folio, allowing you to unlock something new. There are seven different types of Manuscript, one kind for each character. You can find six different volumes of each Manuscript, allowing you to obtain up to 60 extra SP in a playthrough. Here are the Manuscript names for each character:
If you play on Hard Mode (unlocked after beating the game), you can find even more Manuscripts. This list only notes the locations of Manuscripts in the regular game. It will be updated later to include any Hard Mode locations that are found.
