Once you finally make it to the Gold Saucer Date, you will have one of two options if Aerith is your companion for the night. If you have a higher affinity score with her than anyone else, she will be the one you go on a date with. If your affinity is high enough, she will tell you that at first, she thought you were so much like Zack. However, she now knows she wants to be with just you. This is the romantic version of the date. If your affinity isn’t high enough, Aerith and Cloud will go on the date but it will be more of a casual thing as friends rather than a date as partners.
