Since the DCU is still in its development stage at the moment, there are a lot of decisions to be taken for the future of the franchise. Thus, DC Studios co-CEOs James Gunn and Peter Safran are still in the process of hiring new stars that will become crucial parts of the entire narrative going forward, which has led to a lot of speculations being put to the test.

Among the many rumors that were being churned out, there was one that stated Booster Gold, a character from the pages of DC Comics might become part of the franchise’s events, which has not only been confirmed but has also been successfully assigned to a star. If Gunn’s early claims are true, many people believe that the actor that the role went to was none other than Chris Pratt.

While there were reports that claimed this character was in the pipeline to be introduced in the DCU in the future, no one could’ve guessed it would already have a face to represent so soon. And since there’s no indication or mention of who that new star is, fans have speculated that the actor who has been chosen to play this role is none other thanChris Pratt.
This is by far the most believable claim as in the past, theSuperdirector had expressed he would love to work with acquainted stars he has worked on past projects in the DCU if the stars themselves would. In conjunction with that, Pratt had also stated he would love to work with Gunn sometime in the future once more.

Therefore, since comic book fans know the characteristics of the superhero from the lore, many see theJurassic Worldstar to be a natural fit.

What Do The Fans Have To Say About This?
While the speculations line perfectly with the claims made earlier by Gunn and Pratt themselves about wanting to work together on a new project in the future, many are still adamant that actor Glen Powell should be the one that will be revealed to play Booster Gold in the future.

In the end, all of this is just speculative hopes of the fans to see their favorite stars as this superhero in the DCU, while in reality, it can be someone else entirely.
