The items that can upgrade these two things are known as Smithing Stones and Gloveworts. To make it even more challenging, there are particular types of stones and Gloveworts for special kinds of weapons and Spirit Summons. If you’d like to upgrade more than five regular Spirit Ashes, you can! All that is required is that you find the correct Bell Bearing that will let you buy unlimited Gloveworts. In this case, the Bell Bearing you’re looking for is the Glovewort Picker’s Bell Bearing [1].
To obtain it, you will first need to unlock the Altus Plateau. To do so, you must retrieve both halves of the Dectus Medallion and raise the completed medallion at the Grand Lift of Dectus. Once you have made it onto the Plateau, travel to the Wyndham Catacombs and fight your way through as you would inside any dungeon. The boss at the end will be an Erdtree Burial Watchdog; when it is defeated, you will be rewarded with the Glovewort Picker’s Bell Bearing [1]. Take the Bell Bearing to the Twin Maiden Husks at the Roundtable, and you will gain access to an unlimited supply of Grave Glovewort [1], [2], and [3]!
