How to Get Memory Fragments in Elden Ring Nightreign
Before we get into learning about how to get Memory Fragments, it’s important to get one thing out of the way:Memory Fragments are not items found in the world.
I spent numerous expeditions searching for these Memory Fragments, just to come away empty-handed. Instead, it turns out they areearned by completing specific actions on expeditions.
For example, your best bet is tofight a Nightlord you haven’t fought yetwith the character whose Remembrance you want to advance. This can potentially earn you a Memory Fragment, even if you fail the expedition.

Better yet,defeating a Nightlord you haven’t beaten yet has a higher chance, almost guaranteed, of earning you a Memory fragment for your character. In my case, I earned one after defeating Sentient Pest with Raider.
While reaching the Nightlord is one of the best ways to earn Memory Fragments, it’s also possible to receive them onDay 1 and 2bydefeating Great Enemies and completing Raids. However, this method isn’t as reliable.
Just like most things in Elden Ring Nightreign, earning Memory Fragments on failed expeditions is all RNG.
If you receive a Memory Fragment, a notification will appear in the bottom right corner of the screen after an expedition.
It’s important to note that players can’t earn more Memory Fragments until they complete their character’s current Remembrance quest at the journalin the Roundtable Hold.
What Are Remembrances in Elden Ring Nightreign?
As previously mentioned, Rembrances areside quests for Nightfarers. Each Remembrance explains the story of the game’s characters,expanding the lore of Elden RingNightreign.
Each character has unique remembrance quests. For example, Raider’s Remembrances focuses onColiseum-like boss battles, where you must defeat a series of bosses who become increasingly more difficult. On the other hand, Ironeye has tohunt down NPC invaderson expeditions.

For brevity’s sake and to avoid spoilers, I won’t get into all the character’s Remembrances and how they differ. However, I can confirm that you can expect a unique experience with each ofthe game’s eight Nightfarers.
Completing Remembrances not only progresses the character’s storyline, but they also reward you withpowerful Relics, Goblets, and more. The Relics come equipped with specialized buffs that only work for the character you used to complete the Remembrance.
These Relics can make a considerable difference in how well your character performs on an expedition.
One example is the Torn-Braided Cord, which I received after completing Chapter 3 of Raider’s Remembrance. This helpful Relic grants Raider the ability to increase his attack power and stamina after using his character skill.
So not only is it worth completing Remembrances to learn the backstory of each character, but you’ll also be making your characters more powerful overall.
