Elden Ring Nightreignis a roguelike at its core, meaning there is a focus on randomization. Each expedition can feel different, adding much replayability to the game.

Some of the random occurrences that can happen are called “Raids,” where a boss will invade your world and trigger a challenging fight. One of the most challenging Raids is Fell Omen, where the boss from Stormveil Castle in standard Elden Ring attacks your squad.

Fell Omen in Elden Ring Nightreign

How to Trigger the Fell Omen Raid

As previously mentioned, due to Elden Ring Nightreign’sroguelike structure, everything is completely random. Except, of course, the Nightlord you choose before entering an expedition.

In this case, there is no way to trigger the Fell Omen Raid. It’s completely random and can happen at any moment, except on day 3 when youface the Nightlord.

No need for combat for some roguelike action.

From personal experience, the Fell Omen Raidseems to happen once every 5 to 10 expeditions. However, there were times when I encountered the raid on back-to-back expeditions. Again,it all comes down to RNG.

Fell Omen Raid, Explained

The Fell Omen Raid starts off with Margit, The Fell Omen speaking to the player as the screen gets darker and foggy. If you hear and see this, you should immediately get ready for a boss fight as Margit will come directly to your location.

When the raid begins, one player in the squad will be marked with a red circle. This red circle indicates who Margit is focusing on and who he will be the most aggressive toward.

For when you’re in the mood for some melee action, again and again.

If you’re marked with the red circle, I recommend keeping a safe distance and distracting the Fell Omen as your teammates attack. When Margit turns his attention to the other players, you should charge in for damage.

Besides the red mark, the Fell Omen Raid is as straightforward as it gets. It’s a normal, yet very challenging, boss fight with no gimmicks or special requirements to complete it.All you have to do is beat Margit, The Fell Omen in battle.

Fell Omen Raid Rewards

Defeating Margit, The Fell Omen during this raid not only rewards you witha large amount of Runes, but it alsogrants the entire squad a Power. Once you complete this raid, the words “Power Gained” will appear across the screen.

A Power is a permanent buff in your current Elden Ring Nightreign run. The power received from this raid willincrease your attack power for each newly found Site of Grace.

That’s right, every time you find a new Site of Grace, your attack power will increase. The keyword is “new” here, as the Site of Graces you already activated will not work for this purpose.

you may tell if it’s a newly found Site of Grace if it makes a noise when approaching it.

Having this Power activated can make a significant difference in how strong your entire team gets by day 3. It also adds a new strategy to the expedition, as you’ll want to add Site of Graces to your map route.

Players will also earn the Fell Omen trophy for completing the Fell Omen Raid for the first time.

If your entire team dies during the Fell Omen Raid, then the whole squad will receive a negative effect.Losing during this raid will increase the amount of damage you and your teammates receive, making the expedition harder overall.
