We are currently living in the golden era of easy Gamerscore on Xbox, with more quick and cheap completions being released than ever before. As Microsoft has grown to be lax with its achievement list regulations, indie developers have cleverly made use of easy achievements to boost sales. Contrary to triple-A titles andfree Xbox titleswhich often boast ridiculously difficult achievement lists, virtually all easy completions these days are inexpensive indie titles. In June of 2022 alone, a total of 12 sub-one-hour 1000G games were released.
These games come as a mixture of Series X rereleases of older easy games, some brand new titles, and some sequels. All but one of these games will cost less than $10, for a total of 12000G. Each game should take less than an hour, with the quickest taking around ten minutes. If anyone is looking to boost their Gamerscore, these are the games to do so with.
11TEN - Ten Rooms, Ten Seconds
TEN is a platformer released by Ratalaika Games, the most notorious name in all of easy Gamerscore. This game is rather straightforward, requiring players to merely complete the game with a C grade or above, hold more than 100 coins at a single time, purchase an upgrade, and trick a bunny into jumping onto a saw. This should take 40-50 minutes and costs $4.99.
10Square Keeper
Action-puzzle title Square Keeper is an even quicker game, taking around half an hour to totally complete. This game utilizes a card system, where players select cards that display on-screen to choose what actions they want to perform. Earning the full 1000G requires players to complete five chapters, kill one of each type of enemy, and land a couple of combos. Square Keeper costs just $4.99.
9Spacewing War
Yet another big name company in the world of achievement hunting, eastasiasoft released Spacewing War, a sidescroller shoot ‘em up that takes around 40 minutes. This achievement list is fairly plain, requiring players to complete the game’s seven levels, pick up 50 items, and kill 500 total enemies. This title is priced at $6.99.
8Thunder Kid II: Null Mission
Thunder Kid II: Null Mission will set players back $7.99 and will take around half an hour to get through, provided the last boss doesn’t provide too much trouble.
This is a slow-paced, third-person shooter, also produced by eastasiasoft. Players are required to complete the game, defeat 100 enemies, and pick up a handful of powerups to get the full 1000G.
7Drunken Fist 2: Zombie Hangover
eastasiasoft strikes again with their third easy completion of the month, Drunken Fist 2: Zombie Hangover. As the name suggests, this is a zombie apocalypsesurvival game for Xbox Oneand the Series X, and one of the longer completions on this list, taking about 50 minutes to complete. Players must kill 64 enemies, beat five levels, reach a score of 15000, and complete a handful of other simple tasks. This game costs $7.99.
6Why Pizza?
Why Pizza, produced by yet another notorious name in the achievement hunting community, Sometimes You, is a unique entry on this list. It was actually released twice this month, with separate versions for Xbox One and Xbox Series X. Each of these versions will earn players 1000G, and each cost $4.99. The achievement lists are identical, each requiring players to simply complete the first 14 levels of this puzzle game. Following a guide online, this game should take no longer than 15-20 minutes.
5The Wizard And The Slug
Ratalaika Games strikes again with The Wizard and the Slug, a very quick and easy completion, which costs just $4.99. It requires players to complete just the first act, as well as to defeat the game’s bosses, all of which can be accessed through Boss Rush. It also allows for players to use assist options to make the game easier, causing it to take around ten minutes for the full 1000G.
4A Winter’s Daydream
A Winter’s Daydream is a next-gen rerelease of a classic Sometimes You easy achievement list. While it does take half an hour, it could be argued that this is the easiest of the games released in June, as it quite literally only requires the player to mash A to get through dialogue.
It is a strictly dialogue-based visual novel title with no missable achievements, which means there’sliterallynothing more to it than just mashing through it. It costs just $5.99 for some of the easiest Gamerscore players can ask for.
3Tales of Aravorn: Seasons Of The Wolf
Ratalaika’s Tales of Aravorn: Seasons of the Wolf is the most expensive release on this list, costing a pricy $19.99. The game is a rather simple visual novel, taking no more than 30 minutes if an online guide is followed to get you through quickly. There are no missable achievements as they are all story-related, tied to completing each of the game’s 20 chapters.
2The Psychoduck
Guess who? It’s Ratalaika with their fourth easy completion of the month. Much like The Wizard and the Slug, The Psychoduck is a quick ten-minute game priced at $4.99. All but one of the game’s achievements are completely unmissable, and that one missable achievement is quite hard to avoid. The Psychoduck is a top-down action game with 14 short levels for players to complete for 1000G.
