Dragon’s Dogma 2has many different Vocations for players to switch between, along with their overall character level that combined determine the general stats and playstyle of your character. Like all RPGs, the player’s Health will indicate how much damage they have taken and how much they have left before going down.
Dragon’s Dogma 2 also measures party members' Maximum Health, which can also decrease and determine how much of their Health bar is usable at that time. Players will need to manage their own and their Pawn’s Health and Maximum Health; here’s how.

How To Restore Health
The Player’s Health is indicated by thegreen line at the bottom of the screen. As they lose Health by taking damage, that green bar will fade to grey, representing Health that is more easily restored. This can bedone with magic or potions. Some Vocations, such as theMage, will learn curative magic they can cast in battleto slowly heal the Health of those nearby. In combat, holding the “Switch Weapon Skill” will change the Pawn commands andlet players use anySalubrious Draughtthey have to heal.
Outside of combat, food can be eaten, and Draughts can be used to restore Healthin a safer setting. Should you have a mage as a Pawn, standing around without full Health willusually have them use a curative spellto restore any missing Health.

DualShockers Definitives: 10 Best PS5 RPGs
Some of the most universally loved games live in the RPG genre. Here are the very best RPGs available on PS5.
Restoring Maximum Health
As playerstake too much damage in battle or get killed and a game over, their Maximum Health will begin to go down.Instead of turning grey, their Health Bar will slowly disappear, with it at most going down by half. Regular healing methods won’t restore lost Maximum Health, requiring players to instead rest. There are two options when resting, either at an Inn or Camping.
Camping can be done at any campsitefound throughout the world but willrequire players to use aCamping Kit.Inns will cost Gold to stay at, and theprices varydepending on where you are staying, with big cities having much more expensive Inns than the smaller towns. Resting any amount of time, either morning or night, will fully restore the entire party’s lost Maximum Health and any other Health.

While it won’t directly increase the player’s health, enhancing armorwill help players take less damage in battle. Enhancing gear will take agood bit of gold, but is well worth the price.
