Then you’ll have to equip your character with gear that enhances your Vocation. After that, you’ll need to decide which skills you want to use on your adventures. Then, on top of that, you’ll have to decide which augments you’ll benefit from. Fortunately, all of these choices are a lot of fun and help you build your unique character.

What Are Augments
Augments are passive abilities that you can unlock as you gain ranks in any given Vocation.Every Vocation has their own unique augments. When you purchase an augment, you still need to equip it to your character. You can have a total of 6 augments equipped at any one time.It’s free to unequip augments, so feel free to add and remove augments as much as you’d like.Definitely experiment with different combinations to help build your ultimate Arisen.
While upgrading your abilities at the Vocation Guild, don’t forget that your Pawn also has the ability to use augments from their Vocation. Be sure to have your pawn take full advantage of their augments as well.

Mixing Augments From Different Vocations
Once you unlock an augment for your Arisen, you have access to that augment forever.So, if you’ve unlocked Mettle (a defensive augment) from the Fighter Vocation, you can still use it when you switch to any other Vocation.For instance, I unlocked the Opulence augment (which increases the amount of gold gained) through Mystic Spearhand and have continued to use it ever since.This allows for an incredible amount of build variety.
With the ability to mix and match augments, you’re able to have 6 different augments from 6 different Vocations!
