Riichiro Inagaki’sDr. Stoneconcluded on March 6th, 2022, after giving us a total of 232 chapters. The manga community loved how the author completed Senku’s journey of restoring human civilization. However, it was heartbreaking for several fans that the incredible manga has come to an end. Anyway,Dr. Sonefans have something more to look forward to this year. Apparently, the mangaka announced a new chapter for the manga series along with a TV anime special titled"Dr. Stone: Ryusui."

In the latest issue of Weekly Shonen Jump, the author confirmed that the much-awaited special chapter would come out in Issue #31, scheduled to release on July 4th, 2022. On the same day, we’ll get Volume 26 ofDr. Stone. As per the announcement, the special chapter is to commemorate the Ryusui TV anime special.

The creator also released first official key visual forDr. StoneRyusui, which features three main proganists of the series, including Senku. The promo art confirmed that the Tv special will air in Japan on July 7th, 2022. Apart from that, the first trailer for Ryusui episode is also out, which gives us a good idea about the episode’s plot.

The second season of theDr. Stoneanime series ended in March 2021 after giving us eleven episodes. So, it has been a while since we’ve seen Senku on our screens. Fortunately, TMS Entertainment is working on Season 3 ofDr. Stoneanime adaptation. The anime will return with the third season in 2023; however, the studio has yet to reveal an exact release date.

For now, the community is thrilled about the new chapter and the TV special, and we might hear some information about the third season later this year. The anime expo is returning this year in July, so there’s a chance thatDr. Stonewill get a panel during the event to talk about the series' future.
