Earth was not the first planet to face the collapse at the hand of The Witness. Riss was the planet of the Fallen and was blessed by the Traveler before it came to Earth. The Dark Fleet of The Witness came after the Traveler and destroyed the planet of Riss, which was later called The Whirlwind.

Eramis was one of the few fallen that saw the Traveler abandoning them during the Whirlwind and escaping from The Witness. Witnessing this made Eramis consumed with rage and vengeance against the Traveler. After surviving the Whirlwind, she joined the Fallen House of Devils that was responsible for the invasion of Earth and killing countless people and Guardians at the events of Twilight Gap and other battles.

The Origin of Eramis

House Salvation

After her failed attempts to harm humanity by joining the House of Devils, she created her own house named the House of Salvation. Eramis was contacted by The Witness, and she was promised the power of Darkness that would aid her in destroying the Light bearers and give her house a better home. Corrupted by this newfoundpower of Stasis, her plans soon changed from finding a haven for her people to getting revenge on The Traveler.

Destiny 2: Who Is The Exo Stranger

Another soul that’s survived millennia. Here’s what we know about the mysterious Exo Stranger in Destiny 2.

Vanguard, in search of the Pyramid present on the moon of Europa, came to know about the plans of Eramis to use the power of Stasis against humanity. On Europa, our guardian was also contacted by The Witness, who tried to corrupt us with the power of stasis but with the help of The Exo Stranger, we instead used stasis while not being corrupted by the darkness. Eramis tasked her lieutenant with killing us by giving each of them control of the stasis. They, however, failed to stop us, and we came to a confrontation with Eramis where she was defeated in battle and was left frozen by our guardian, effectively ending all her plans of using stasis against humanity.

Eramis, House Salvation

The Future of House Salvation

House Salvation was left scattered with their Kell enclosed in Stasis. Eramis, however, breaks free from her stasis prison through The Witness, who threatens her by saying that any more failure will not go unpunished. Eramis was later tasked to retrieve the pieces of Nezarec, The Final God of Pain, from all over the Solar System. Eramis employed different pirate crews for that purpose, but they were interrupted by the Vanguard, and the pieces of Nezarec came into the Vanguard’s possession.

Destiny 2: Who Is Rasputin?

The last of old Earth’s defensive AI, he awoke again to fight for humanity. Here’s what we know about the Warmind Rasputin in Destiny 2.

The Witness, angered by her failure, converted her fallen commander to Scorn, again warning the fate the House Salvation awaited if they failed The Witness again. Her house was then tasked to take control of the Warmind and Rasputin himself to subdue The Traveler through it. With the help of the now scorn commander, she took control of theOrbital Seraph Stationin Earth’s Orbit from where she injected a virus into Rasputin’s system in an attempt to take control of the Warminds.

The Vanguard would take the control back but in another attempt, she would effectively gain control over the Warminds. With the Dark Fleet approaching Earth, and the Warminds now aimed at The Traveler, The Traveler attempted to leave the Earth’s atmosphere. Eramis was, in that instance, contacted by The Witness to fire at the Traveler. Being reluctant gave Rasputin just enough time to initialize a self-destruct sequence that destroyed all the Warminds. Though Eramis once again failed, she saw to her surprise that the Traveler had not left the Earth but instead had made orbit around Earth, with the Dark Fleet rapidly approaching.

Personality

Eramis, after seeing the destruction of her home world, harbored feelings of anger and revenge against the Traveler. Though she wanted to protect her people and give them a better home world and a chance for a new beginning, her vision and ways were clouded by anger, causing her to turn to The Witness. She was allowing herself and her house to be manipulated by The Witness.

Her house continues to fight the forces of The Last City, though she has grown tired and become more and more reluctant to fight as she has started to realize that her house is being used as a pawn in The Witness’s grand scheme of things. It is evident that she has mentally accepted defeat and has given up all hope for a better world for Fallen and has no choice but to follow The Witness’ command.
