All the locked heroes will be visible on this screen in gray. You have the option tospend four candlesto unlock them. Once you’ve unlocked the hero, they will beavailable for future expeditions. you may also then spend more candles to upgrade them.
Using Your Unlocked Heroes
After a hero has been unlocked, they will show up at the crossroads and can be brought on expeditions. To use a hero, simply drag them from the list into a space on the Battle Order.
How To Use The Bounty Hunter
The one hero whocannot be selected at The Crossroads is the Bounty Hunter. Instead, he will occasionally show up for hire at inns. Hiring The Bounty Hunter costs candles, and while he has great statistics,he cannot be upgraded.
When you hire The Bounty Hunter, one of your heroes (your choice) will stay behind and meet up with the party at the next inn. This is a great strategy if you are concerned about a hero’s ability to survive the next leg.
