In the trailers and clips that have been released, she is seen fighting Carrie-Anne Moss’s character, who is a highly skilled Jedi Master. In an interview withEmpire, Stenberg revealed that it was a dream come true to work with Moss, and she nearly had a heart attack when she got to know of her inclusion in the show.

Soooo cool. When I first found out about it, I damn near had a heart attack, because I love The Matrix. And my goodness, what a cool, strong character. It just felt incredible that I had the opportunity to learn from somebody in real time, who had spent so much time in this industry in similar positions to me. She was an incredible source of inspiration – to be with her and to know her, and be on set together.

In addition to Stenberg and Moss,The Acolytealso stars Lee Jung-jae, Manny Jacinto, Dafne Keen, Charlie Barnett, Jodie Turner-Smith, Rebecca Henderson, Dean-Charles Chapman, and Joonas Suotamo.The series is set to premiere on Disney+ with its first two episodes, with the remaining 6 episodes dropping weekly till July 01, 2025.
