A brand-new update for Cyberpunk 2077 brings the game to version 1.6, with a long list of bug fixes, improvements, and some Edgerunners inspired conent for players to get their hands on.The update, which is now live on PC and both current and next-gen consoles, comes following a special edition of Night City Wire. The live stream not only featured a further look at the upcoming Cyberpunk: Edgerunners series, which hits Netflix next week, but also confirmed a new DLC for Cyberpunk 2077 would be arriving in 2023.As for the here and now, CD Projekt Red confirmed that a new patch for Cyberpunk 2077 would be deployed across all supported platforms, with some Edgerunners-inspired cosmetics from the upcoming anime series.RELATED:Phasmophobia’s Custom Difficulty Update Will Release This MonthAs detailed in the patch notes, the update includes 6 new firearms:

CD Projekt Red also state that there are some “secrets” inside of today’s update that include new equipment and photo mode features related to Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. Plus, a highly requested cross-progression feature was also added, which now allows players to transfer their progress between platforms.
According to the developer’s explanation in the official patch notes, players' latest saves will be automatically uploaded to the cloud so they can continue right where they left off easily on other platforms. Cross-progression will provide the latest save for every save type and is available after logging into your account from the main menu.
Patch 1.6 also includes a new arcade game, roach race, as well as the ability to take photos of Nibbles in photo mode. But, most importantly, there’s a long list of bug fixes and improvements across all platforms.
