From the amazing cinematic trailer for the game at E3 2018, we already knew thatÂCyberpunk 2077was going to go big on creating a big, dense world full of places to discover and incredible technology to witness. Cars and vehicles are definitely on that list judging from the sweet rides that the player will have at their disposal, withÂCyberpunk’s CD Projekt Red revealing a new vehicle that happens to be inspired by another franchise with an affinity for fast, adrenaline-powered cars.On the game’s official Twitter account, developer CD Projekt Red shared a quick glimpse at a new vehicle inÂCyberpunk 2077called the Reaver, which is “a custom-built Wraith gang vehicle based on Quadra Type-66 car.” According to the tweet, the vehicle boasts near 1000 horsepower, and it’s got plenty of good looks to spare.Of course, judging by the tweet, the vehicle is also seemingly meant to be a nod to the V8 Interceptor (aka the “Pursuit Special”) driven by Max Rockatansky in theÂMad Maxfilms. With this week marking the fifth anniversary of the release ofÂMad Max: Fury Road, it definitely seems like as good a time as any to reveal a new ride for players to enjoy.
