Best Skills for Sciel
Sciel is a character that deals Dark and Physical damage through her skills. As Sciel uses skills, she applies Foretell to enemies (10 max per enemy) that generate Sun charges. These aresimilar to Stains, but work a bit differently.
Sciel can then use certain skills to consume the Foretell, amplifying their effects and generating Moon Charges. If Sciel has Sun and Moon Charges, she can consume all charges and enter a Twilight phase.

Twilight lasts two turns and does the following:

To start off, we haveSearing Bond. This useful early game skill does a decent amount of damage, but that’s not what makes it so useful.
The major benefit here is that it applies a guaranteed 5 Foretell and also does the same to each burning enemy on the battlefield. This gives Sciel a major advantage and shoots her closer to the max 10 Foretell.
Spectral Sweepis a good addition as it’s a consecutive attack skill (2 to 6 hits), where each hit applies Foretell. Better yet, if you land a Critical Hit while executingSpectral Sweep, then you’ll be rewarded with additional Foretell.
10 Best JRPGs With Satisfying Summon Systems
Whether it’s building up your party or striking down foes, everyone loves a good summon in their JRPG.
Following up theSearing BondandSpectral Sweepskill with theSealed Fateskill, where each of its 5 to 7 hits consumes one Foretell and increases damage by 200%, you’ll find Sciel doing an incredible amount of damage, especially if you have reached the max 10 Foretell fromSpectral SweepandSearing Bond.
Lastly, you’ll want to have a couple of buff skills equipped for Sciel.Fortune’s Fury,Rush, andHarvestare great picks, whereFortune’s Furycan increase damage to allies,Rushgrants additional turns, andHarvestcan heal her while also dealing damage.
Best Endgame Skills for Sciel
As you reach level 30 to 50 and make it to the “endgame” ofClair Obscur: Expedition 33, you’ll get access to even better skills for Sciel.
Her purpose remains the same though, which is to gather AP and build Foretell to maximize her damage output.
Out of all the late game skills for Sciel, the grid below shows the best options.
Our Sacrifice
Deals extreme dark damage to all enemies. 1 hit. Absorbs allies' Health and enemies Foretell to deal increased damage.
Twilight Dance
Deals extreme single target Dark damage. 4 hits. During Twilight, extends Twilight duration by 1 turn. Consumes all Foretell to deal additional damage.
Plentiful Harvest
Deals medium single target Physical damage. 2 hits. Consumes all Foretell on a target and gives 1 AP to party members for each Foretell consumed.

Grim’sHarvest

As you can see, we’re keepingFortune’s Furyinto the endgame, mainly because it’s a great way to buff allies for Gradient Attacks.
8 Best JRPGs With Time Travel
Time travel is a finicky theme to get right, but when a JRPG nails it, the results are marvelous.
As for the new skills added,Final Pathis the standout here due to the Extreme Dark damage it deals. Additionally, it applies 10 Foretell, which compliments the rest of the skills mentioned.
However, it requires a full AP bar, so it’s essential to build that up first through standard attacks.
Once 10 Foretell is applied through theFinal Pathskill, you will deal extra damage with theTwilight DanceandOur Sacrificeskills, gain more AP for each party member throughPlentiful Harvest, and increase healthrecoverywithGrim’sHarvest.
Best Stats for Sciel
When it comes to Sciel’s stats, players should focus on investing across the board, withmore points going into Vitality, Agility, and Luck.
Vitality is pretty self-explanatory, as it’s the main way toincrease Sciel’s health pool, allowing her to stay in the fight longer.
Agility is very helpful for Sciel since it will allow her to have more turns in combat, resulting in her acquiring AP and applying Foretell at a faster rate.
Lastly, Luck can increase the chances of Sciel landing a Critical Hit, which not only deals more damage but also helps her build Foretell faster. Remember, some of her skills build additional Foretell with each Critical Hit.
Best Pictos for Sciel
Considering Sciel is all about building Foretell, and she can only do so through her skills, you want to make sure she can cast as many skills as possible. This can be done byequipping Pictos that grant her AP.
While tons of Pictos grant AP, below are some of my recommendations for the early game.
Remember, as you master these Pictos by completing four battles with them equipped, you can unlock their Lumina and make their effects permanent for Sciel.
Once you reach the later half of the game, I recommend equipping Pictos that help with keeping her health high and removing status effects.
8 Most Shocking JRPG Plot Twists
It’s hard to pull off a plot twist, but there’s nothing better than being caught completely off guard by one and watching the story change.
Enemies grow tougher and apply more status effects the further you get into the game.
Check out some of my recommendations below.
Just like before, once you master these Pictos, make sure to activate them for permanent use in the Luminas screen.
Keep in mind that there are other Pictos in the game that offer effects similar to these, and it’s not required to use these exact ones to create a good Sciel build. However, it’s best to focus on these types of effects, such as increasing AP and keeping health high.
The main purpose of Pictos is to keep Sciel at her strongest and in battle so she can continuously apply Foretell and deal maximum damage.
Best Weapons for Sciel
While the Attack Power of a weapon is important inClair Obscur: Expedition 33, it’s not the only aspect that can make a difference. Most weapons come equipped with three buffs that are unlocked once the playerupgrades them to a certain level.
When it comes to the best weapon for Sciel, you want to make sure to have a decent Attack Power, but most importantly, you want weapons that come equipped with strong effects.
Best Early Game Weapon
Early on in your playthrough, the best weapon to choose is theRangeson. This strong early-game weapon has good attack power (increases when upgraded), deals Dark Damage, and scales with Defense (C) and Agility (B).
Even better, theRangesoncomes with three buffs that can be unlocked at specific levels:
Best Endgame Weapon
The best endgame weapon to finish off this Sciel build is theChation, with a base attack power of over 1,000, Dark element, and scales with Luck (B) and Vitality (C).
TheChationcomes with the following buffs:
While it may seem bad to take double damage from the level 4 buff, having more Foretell is always a good thing and helps Sciel deal more damage.
Players should also be better at parrying and dodging at this point in the game, so taking double damage isn’t the end of the world.
