Ben Affleck has done his fair share of interesting roles in his career and he does not seem to be stopping anytime soon. The actor will continue to give his fans one exceptional performance after the other and honestly, who here is complaining? However, a potential new film with him in the lead has left fans confused and asking, “who even wants this?”

The reported film is about retired professional wrestler Hulk Hogan and his controversy with the website, Gawker. It is being reported that a screenplay about this event in Hulk Hogan’s life and his lawsuit against the website is in the works with Ben Affleck eyeing the lead role.

If you are wondering what happened with Hogan and Gawker, here’s a summary of it all. Back in 2012, the gossip website released clips of a s-x tape that involved Hogan and Bubba the Love Sponge’s then-wife, Heather Clem.

As a retaliation, Hogan sued both Gawker and Bubba for invasion of privacy and they eventually came to a settlement. However, the pro-wrestler then filed a lawsuit against the website separately and ended up winning $115 million in damages.
Thanks to this verdict, Gawker eventually ended up declaring bankruptcy, and the website was shut down.

They did not hold back from giving their honest opinion on the reported biopic and the verdict seems to be that a good chunk of fans couldn’t care less about it.
