Tatsuki Fujimoto’sChainsaw Manis known for a lot of dark concepts and events, but the one thing that makes the series completely unique is the Devils who feed upon the different fears of humanity. These Devils are one of the most important factors of theChainsaw Mannarrative, and even the title of the series comes from the Chainsaw Devil, also known as Pochita.

Pochita is one of the strongest Devils inChainsaw Man, and most of his past is a big mystery for fans. He was one of the most ruthless Devils in history but somehow ended up in a form that looked like a dog and was taken in by Denji. The two then formed a team and went on to fight some of the most dangerous Devils in existence inChainsaw Man.

Pochita has a lot of powerful abilities, but the strongest among them all is definitely the Devil Erasure. This power allows Pochita to remove the Devil and the fear it represents from existence by devouring them. It is probably the most feared ability inChainsaw Man, and it makes Pochita the biggest threat to the Devils.

The mysterious power of Pochita inChainsaw Man

WhenChainsaw Manfirst started, Pochita was portrayed as a below-average Devil who helped Denji survive the day-to-day struggles. However, as the story progressed, fans got to learn more and more about Pochita and his background, which essentially revealed that he was probably the biggest threat to the Devil World (Hell) within the narrative.

Evidently, Pochita was called “The Devil that Devils fear the most” because he was the biggest threat to devilkind. This led to him becoming the target of some of the most dangerous Devils in existence, but even after that, Pochita survived on his own and continued to devour Devils. He went on a killing spree and made an enemy out of every devil present in Hell.

This made himthe most dangerous Devil in existence, and thus, most of the Devils (Four Horsemen and Weapons Devils) came together to take him down. Even after that, Pochita survived and somehow ended up on Earth, where he met Denji. The two of them formed a bond and have since then been the most iconic duo ofTatsuki Fujimoto’sChainsaw Man.

Pochita’s ability to erase Devils from existence

Pochita is considered a menace to the devil type because he not only kills them but also entirely eliminates them and the fear they represent from existence. This power is called the Devil Erasure, and it is probably the strongest power in the entireChainsaw Mannarrative.

As mentioned above, the Chainsaw Devil had the power to devour other Devils. However, once the Devils are devoured by him, their existence is completely removed, and they cannot be reborn until Pochita vomits them out. He can also remove their existence partially, as mentioned by the War Devil inpart 2 of theChainsaw Manmanga.

Thus, the Chainsaw Devil is the biggest menace to the Devil kind, and he is only going to get stronger as he is the protagonist of the series. His power is certainly underrated, and if used properly by Denji, it can make him one of the strongest anime characters in the world, rivaling the likes of characters like Goku and Luffy.
