Do you want to be one of the first in the world to playCall of Duty: Vanguard? Well, you’ll need to own a PlayStation 4 or 5 and download the brand new Alpha available this weekend.
Vanguard’sexclusive PlayStation Alpha will feature the new Champion Hill Multiplayer Mode. The mode will reportedly give players a taste of what’s to come when the full game releases this November.
But don’t worry if you don’t own a PlayStation for the upcoming Alpha, as fans will be able to access an Open Beta forVanguardthis September. More details of which can be found on theCall of Dutywebsite.
If you’re eager to jump into the PlayStation Alpha this weekend, here’s everything you need to know.
When Is TheVanguardAlpha?
PlayStation’s exclusive Alpha forCall of Duty: Vanguardwill take place from Friday, August 27th to Sunday, August 29th.
The Alpha is available to download right now on PlayStation 4 and 5, with the servers reportedly going online at the following times:
Vanguard’sAlpha servers will be taken offline at the same times listed above on August 29th, meaning players have exactly 48 hours to play.
Players simply need a PlayStation 4 or 5 console with an internet connection to take part in this weekend’s Alpha.
To download theCall of Duty: VanguardPlayStation Alpha, head to the PlayStation Store and searchVanguardto locate the Alpha and download it.
If you own eitherModern Warfare, Black Ops Cold War,orWarzone, a prompt will appear in the main menu which will re-direct you to download the Alpha when selected.
Call of Duty: Vanguard
Call of Dutyis back this November, and we’re heading to World War II inCall of Duty: Vanguard.
The title is set to release on November 5th and will feature full integration withWarzone. Meaning players will receive a brand newWarzoneMap after the game launches.
Vanguardwill also feature an action-packed campaign with four different characters to play as.
Multiplayer will also return with a massive 20 maps available at launch, plus the continuation of the Dark Aether story in Zombies, led by Treyarch Studios themselves.
