As one of the highest-ranking devils who possesses Vanica Zogratis, Megicula’s influence, and power has been felt throughout the series, long before her actual appearance.
Megicula’s primary power comes from her command over Curse-Warding Magic. Her ability to cast curses not only affects her immediate victims but also extends over multiple generations, making her an incredibly daunting adversary. Her curse on Princess Acier Silva and its subsequent effects on her children is a prime example of her sinister capabilities.
Taking the runner-up spot on our list is one of the three rulers of the underworld, The King of Devils, Lucifero. Lucifero can manipulate gravity, one of the most powerful magic attributes, allowing him to bend space and time, control the movements of others, and generate destructive force. His Gravity Magic is so powerful that when Lucifero first manifested and ordered everyone to bow their heads, everyone in his vicinity got smashed to the ground.
Even in an incomplete form, Lucifero took on all the Magic Knight Captains simultaneously without suffering a scratch, underscoring his immeasurable strength.
1Lucius Zogratis
Claiming the crown as the most formidable villain in Black Clover is none other than the eldest of the Zogratis siblings. With the defeat of Lucifero, the curtain was lifted, revealing the real puppet master who had been hiding in plain sight all along — the host of one of the highest-ranking devils, Astaroth, Lucius Zogratis.
What makes Lucius so powerful is his command over three different types of magic: Soul Magic, Time Magic (Astaroth), and Gravity Magic (after Lucius takes over Julius’ body, he consumes the heart of Lucifero as well). He is currently undefeated, and we don’t know the actual extent of his power, but he is undoubtedly thestrongest character in the series.
