2K Games is set to bring a whole lot of its most popular properties to the Nintendo Switch in a little over two months. As part of today’s new Nintendo Direct Mini, it was revealed that three new titles from 2K’s past are set to soon get new Switch ports.ÂBioShock: The Collection,ÂXCOM 2 Collection, andÂBorderlands Legendary Collectionare all set to hit Switch later this year on August 23, 2025. As for just what is included in each of these bundles, well, let’s break it down.BioShock: The Collectionis set to be the same version of the title that released on Xbox One and PS4 earlier this generation. The package contains all of the games in the series includingÂBioShock,ÂBioShock 2, andÂBioShock Infinite. We previously had a pretty solid idea that this bundle could be coming to Switch when itleaked via a ratings website earlier this year.Borderlands Legendary Collection, much likeÂBioShock, will also boast three separate titles in its larger package.ÂBorderlands,ÂBorderlands 2, andÂBorderlands: The Pre-Sequelare the three games in question that will now finally be making their way to Switch. It has seemed like a long time coming for these games to at long last head to Nintendo’s platform, but fans of the series will surely be pleased to finally know that it’s happening.

Lastly, withÂXCOM 2 Collection, this will see the entireÂXCOM 2experience in one location. Not only will the base game be included here, but all subsequent DLCs and expansions that arrived after the game’s initial release will also be landing on Switch, too.ÂXCOMÂhonestly kind of feels like the perfect game to put on Switch and I’m really happy that it’s finally heading to the platform.

All in all, this is a really solid slate of titles that 2K is adding to the Switch and I’m hoping that they each work well on the console. Considering many of these titles are from last-generation hardware originally, I expect that they each should more than adequately run at a solid level on Switch. We’ll find out more later this year in May.
